Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium for Injection (2:1)

[Indications]
Used for the following infections:
- Respiratory infection
- Urinary tract infection
- Peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis and other infections in abdominal cavity
- Septicemia
- Meningica
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Bone and joint infections
- Pelvic inflammation, endometritis, gonorrhea and other infections in genital organ and genital tracts
[Usage and administration]
The usual adult dosage is 1.5~3g (1~2g Cefoperazone) per day; in severe or refractory infections, the dosage may be increased to 6g (4g Cefoperazone) per day. The recommended maximum dosage for Cefoperazone is 4g (12g of this product) per day.
To patients with sever renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance < 30ml/min), dosage regiment should be adjusted to anastate the clearance reduce of Cefoperazone. To patients with a creatinine clearance of 15-30ml/min, the maximum dosage of Cefoperazone per 12 hours is 1g (3.0g of this product). To patients with a creatinine clearance less than 15ml/min, the maximum dosage of Cefoperazone per 12 hours is 0.5g (1.5g of this product).
The usual children dosage is 30~60mg/kg/day (20~40mg/kg/day Cefoperazone) in 2~4 divided doses. In severe infections the dosage should be increased to 0.12g/kg/day (80mg/kg/day Cefoperazone) in 2~4 divided doses.
To neonatus born within 1 week, administer per 12 hours. The maximum paediatric dosage should not be more than 80mg/kg/day Cefoperazone (0.24g/kg/day of this product). The requisite amount for Cefoperazone is 80mg/kg/day (0.24g/kg/day of this product). In severe infections, dosage should be increased extenuatorily.
To reconstitute 1.5g of this product, packed in pressureproof vial, the requisite volume of water and the final dissolubility are stated in the following table:

For intravenously guttae: per vial of this product should be reconstituted with 5% glucose solution, 0.9% NaCl injection, or sterile water for injection, than dilute with the same dissolvent to obtain 50~100ml final solution. The intravenously guttae time should be 30~60miniutes.
